The mission of the Alabama Chapter of the American College of Surgeons is to be an effective voice for surgeons and to advance the highest standards of ethical patient care through education, mentorship, fellowship and advocacy.


The Alabama Chapter of the American College of Surgeons is the largest surgical society within the state with greater than 450 members representing all surgical subspecialties. With our state membership being strengthened by our national organization, the Chapter is positioned to fulfill its mission.
